Flyer bow guides by COSMOS, diamond polished, not only eliminate wire damage, but also make an increase in operational speed feasible due to reduced friction, contingent on allowable parameters. Available for your selection are bow guides made of Alumina, Tungsten Carbide and TZP (Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal), plus applicable caps, depicted next to the respective bow guide dimensional drawings.

We make sure that the bottom or base surface of our open-ended bow guides are ground flat to within    +/- 0.05 mm   to ensure an even fit onto the flyer bow, which eliminates the possibility of wire wedging. Shown below are photos of a ground and an un-ground BG 50 bow guide base.
